Sherbert and Linda VanMeter, owners and managers of Renegade Marine & Outdoor Center, have been in business in the area since 1975. In 1992 Sherbert and Linda acquired a Bass Fishing Tournament with approximately 70 members. Within a few years, it had grown into The Premier Tournament circuit in the area with more than 1100 members. With the lack of support from local boat dealerships the idea of a boat dealership was born, and in 2004 Renegade Marine & Outdoor Center was born.
